Data collection and logging

The following data is transmitted to us when you visit our website:

• Date and time of the request
• Name of the requested page
• Page from which the sub-page was requested
• Access status (page transferred, page not found, etc.)

• Full IP address or host name of the computer from which the request was made
• Quantity of data transferred

The transmission of this data is necessary for technical reasons in order to display our website and to ensure the stability and security of the website. This is provided for in law by Article 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR. The data is retained for a maximum period of 14 days.

The legal basis for processing your data when you establish contact with us is our legitimate interest in responding to your request as provided for by Article 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR. Article 6, Paragraph 1b of the GDPR provides a further basis for the processing of your data if your inquiry is intended to lead to the conclusion of a contract. Note on the transfer of data to the USA

Our website includes, among other things, services from providers headquartered in the USA. If these services are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies.

We draw your attention to the fact that the USA is considered by the European Court of Jus-tice to be a country with a level of data protection that does not meet EU standards.

Use of Google Fonts

When you visit our website, your browser establishes a connection to Google’s servers when the website loads. During this process, your browser transmits various items of information to ensure that the website is presented uniformly. This information includes a range of browser and device data and the IP address of the user. Consequently, personal data is transmitted to Google’s servers in the USA as a result of the integration of Google Fonts. The font files are stored on the end device for one year in order to improve the loading times of the websites on which Google Fonts is used.

Processing of the data is justified by an overriding legitimate interest on the part of the opera-tor of the website (Article 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR). The legitimate interest of the website operator lies in the benefits resulting from the use of Google Fonts:

Applicant data

We are pleased that you are interested in our company and wish to apply for a position with us. Below, we would like to provide you with information on how your personal data is pro-cessed in connection with your application.

We process the data you send us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or, where applicable, other vacant positions in our company) and to conduct the application procedure.

The primary legal basis for processing your personal data in this application procedure is § 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The Act provides for the processing of data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship.

Your application data will be looked at by the HR department after receipt of your application. Suitable applications will then be forwarded internally to the department responsible for the relevant open position. Further action will then be coordinated. Within the company, only those persons who need access to your data for the proper conduct of our application proce-dure have access to your data.

Your data will be erased after 6 months if your application is rejected. In the event that you have agreed to continued storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our pool of applicants (Article 6, paragraph 1a GDPR). If you have received confirmation of a position during the application procedure, the data will be transferred from the applicant data system to our personnel information system.

Use of cookies

We use cookies to display and optimize our website. Cookies are text files that are received by your Internet browser and stored on your computer.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that if you do so, it may not be possible for you to make use of the full scope of all the functions of our website.

Pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3 GDPR, consent can be withdrawn at any time by contact-ing us. The legality of the processing that has already taken place remains unaffected.
Furthermore, a right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR may exist for certain con-tent that is made available.

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1f GDPR, you have the right to oppose processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 GDPR.
