A concept - two different applications

Over the past years sensitivity of ICP and AAS has been further increased through the development of new atomizer/nebulizer devices (crossflow, ultratonic) Sensitivity of the ICP/MS has attained levels of less than ppb in the meantime.
Automatic sample preparation enables the production of sample quantities beyond the throughput capability of instruments. This results in large numbers of samples standing out in the open without adequate protection. Thus, the samples may become contaminated from dust particles in the air which will affect the result in the ppb range. For this reason samples should be stored in an enclosure.

Samples are well shielded from contamination by dust particles with the SPETEC Plexiglass Casing.

 

Attractively styled acrylic glass enclosure

Spetec offers an attractively styled acrylic glass enclosure for upgrading of any storage tray. The storage tray can be comfortably accessed by means of wide doors. Handles and hinges are fabricated from metal with a corrosion-proof synthetic coating.

The plexiglass enclosure can be flooded with filtered air in case of highly acidic samples, which could produce corrosion problems to the sample tray stored in the enclosure. Acidic air in the enclosure is exhausted while only filtered air reaches the enclosure interior (optional).


Open rehearsals are contaminated by dust

In normal laboratory atmosphere are approximately 300000-500000 particles per cubic foot. The Laminar Flow Box Spetec Cleanroom Class 5 (about 100 particles per cubic foot) is reached.

acid-resistant portable Mini-Exhaust

In addition to stock production of standard sizes, all enclosures can be assembled to customer specifications, i.e. you will receive an enclosure corresponding to your space and specific requirements. This applies not only to size but also to style (optional side doors).

Additionally, fittings (blower-exhaust) can be selected as options. Specific conditions in the laboratory sometimes demand the exhaust of corrosive or toxic gases where no fixed exhaust hood had been installed. The Spetec Mini-Exhaust can easily be placed just where it is needed.

Gases can be vented into the open air or into the pre fixed exhaust system by means of a flexible hose.

The Spetec Mini-Exhaust can be manufactured in any shape and size required .
